Community Acupuncture is a style of acupuncture treatment that is new to the U.S., but traditional in China. Its main difference is that it is offered in a group setting, and mainly uses points on the hands, legs, feet and ears to affect the whole system. The purpose of offering this different style of acupuncture treatment is to allow clients to set their own fees and come as often as they need to receive treatment. Clients still need to set up a longer time for their initial intake.
Clients coming to Community Acupuncture should wear loose fitting clothing that allows access to their arms and legs. All acupuncture clients should avoid using perfumes, strong smelling deodorants, or make-up on the day of their appointment.
(Currently offered on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:30pm – appointment required)
