Rebecca Donnelly has been practicing in the healing arts for 19 years.  She attended the Baltimore School of Massage in 1989.  In 1992 she moved to Austin, Texas and furthered her studies in advanced methods of massage including structural, energetic, and mind-body modalities.  She went on to teach massage therapy for seven years at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin.  In 1996, Rebecca went to California to do an intensive study at The Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, California.  This study was instrumental in defining her interest in Asian healing modalities including Shiatsu.  In 2000, Rebecca also studied Thai massage in a small village along the Mekong River in Thailand. These interests in the Asian healing arts eventually led her back to Maryland to complete her training in acupuncture at The Tai Sophia Institute.  Rebecca works to combine acupuncture and bodywork to create specific treatments for each individual.   Rebecca’s most recent role as mother has created a renewed interest in working with mothers in finding balance and ease in all areas of life.  She is trained in pre-natal massage and encourages all moms to find time for their personal self-care for the sake of the family.
